He just saw cricket once and start liking it. It was the India VS Pak T20 2007 first round match. After few weeks he started practicing fielding by throwing the ball and trying to stop it and also asking me to throw the ball toward him and he try to catch it.

My brother bought a cricket bat for him and my father pack and sent it through speed post. These photos shows his happiness right after he got that bat. unpack and then playing.

That was Vedic idea to make the two building and a way to go from one building to another. This was people don't have to go all the way down to go to other building.

[As of 14-Oct-2007]
Vedic and team had their third match yesterday and they all are doing good. They are learning fast and by now they all understand which goal post they need to shoot, which one is their team and which one is opponent team. Well they know offense and defense and they quickly go to save goal if opponents are close to their goal.

Vedic saved one goal that was almost in the goal but he blocked the ball from his feet right before the goal post. That was awesome.

Match 1: Yellow team vs Orange team:
Match start and here you go. Fist goal in just few seconds. Score: Yellow 1 and orange 0. Then the goal from Adam, Orange team was on top of the ball and near the yellow team goal post when Adam steal the ball turn himself and the ball toward the opposite side goal and then another turn and then driveling the ball real fast and then shot in the goal.

Vedic was at the right place at right time when he got the ball kicked by a team member and he was right before the goal and he did no mistake in giving that ball direction into the goal. He consistently trying to save the goal when opponent team go toward his goal.

Final score was Yellow 5 Orange 3. Vedic said that he liked the moment when he made the goal and everyone clapped for him and everyone shouted vedic-vedic in excitement.

Match 2: Yellow team vs Green team:
This Match was one sided with score as Yellow 13-Green 1. Adam made 8/9 goal while other team members shares rest of the goal. Vedic did one good goal where he steal the ball and drivel to the goal and shoot into the goal. Adam was all over from saving to shooting.

Match 3: Yellow team vs Green team:
Last match hero Adam was missing in this game. Orange team improved a lot after the first match and gave a good fight. Score after the half time was 2-2. They made 2 quick goals before the half time. After that Yellow made another 5 goals one of them by the Orange team itself when they could not able to stop the ball hit by Yashawa from very far.
Eric played very well in this game and he saved lots of goals. Vedic gave him good company in saving the goals and saved one goal that was almost in the goal but he blocked the ball from his feet right before the goal post. That was awesome and also the goal he made.

Today the biggest difference between the teams was the saving of the goals. Both played very good soccer but Yellow saved goals while Orange did not.

Match 4: Yellow team vs Orange team:
Yellow win this match by 6-2.

Match 5: Yellow team vs Red team:
Yellow win this match by 6-0. Vedic did 3 goals.

Match 7: Yellow team vs Red team:
Yellow lost this match by 2-7.

Match 8: Yellow team vs Orange team:
Yellow won this match by 4-2.

Match 9: Yellow team vs Green team:
Yellow won this match by 9-6. Yash did great in this match and scored 3 goals.

And that's how this session is now completed. Vedic learnt a lot during last 20 weeks. 8 weeks of summer classes and 12 weeks of fall session and matches. It was much much better then any body expectations. Great Job coach David, assistant coach and the whole team. Stay tune, next session will start next year in Jan 2008 while the games will start end of Feb 2008.

Few photos of Vedic at Birth and until he was two years old. Yes he has grown a lot since then. One of my friend created a blog for his newly born son and that inspired me to go check Vedic oldest photos and post them online.

Today Vedic helped me in cooking. I was making tomato curry and he helped me by cutting the tomato and then helped me pouring onions, tomato's and masalas in the food I was preparing. (BTW he was along only for the time I was taking the pictures :) )

Since last three years me and Vedic are participating in the AHS community day events to do re-surface (mulch) the playground area.

First two years Vedic was very cooperative and quietly played while I was helping in re-surface activity. This year he step forward and helped by participating in the work. He rack the mulch using a small rack and helped bringing the mulch to playground area.

Well on top of that he was instructing me to bring more mulch quickly and not wast time in taking snaps.

Web Site projects were introduced with VS 2005. Many people complained because the VS 2003 manner of creating compiled Web Applications were more efficient and easy to manage.

Here is an article that explains the Web Application project which became part of SP1… It is much more highly scalable…

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Aa730880(VS.80).aspx

Following is the article that stats steps to convert a web site project to web application project.
http://webproject.scottgu.com/CSharp/Migration2/Migration2.aspx

During migration, it will be changes in the project structure and additional files will be created (.designer). App_code files will be moved to Old_App_Code folder and there will be one assembly file for complete project. One assembly will restrict our flexibility to use C# code along with VB.NET because .NET cannot compile multiple languages into one assembly.

Visa Bulletine for Aug 2007 has been released. http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3269.html

They have revert the July 2 Bulletine and now everyone can file.

D. JULY EMPLOYMENT-BASED VISA AVAILABILITYAfter consulting with Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Visa Office advises readers that Visa Bulletin #107 (dated June 12) should be relied upon as the current July Visa Bulletin for purposes of determining Employment visa number availability, and that Visa Bulletin #108 (dated July 2) is hereby withdrawn.

Also USCIS Announces July Adjustment of Status Applications will be Accepted thru August 17, 2007

Well good timing for me, mine application was sent today to deliver tomorrow. Great thanks to AILA, AILF, Ms. Lofgren, murthy.com, immigrationvoice.org and all other organization and people involved in resolving this issue and providing us an opportunity to file our I-485. Thank so much.

Following are the top sites that provided quick and reliable informations on this whole issue:

13 July 2007

Confusion, confusion and more confusion. No body know what to do and what not do do. Rumors every day, some says to send application while some suggest to hold.

As per http://www.hammondlawfirm.com/:
HLG has confirmed that the CIS is not returning I-485 Applications back to those who filed I-485 during the first week of July. This is leading many to speculate that the CIS may reverse course and re-re-amend the July Visa Bulletin; whether the Visa Bulletin actually reopens remains to be seen. HLG normally refrains from commenting on rumors, but we have talked to several Washington insiders and believe that this is seriously being considered.

While as per http://immigrationvoice.org/: A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT LIKELY IN NEXT 24 HOURS:
Immigration Voice core has learned that something is likely to happen in next 24 hours (or Monday) possibly to fix the issues caused by recent visa bulletin.
We have been told not to divulge details of this development.
All we can say as of now is that :
1). The solution will be announced in next 24 hours or on Monday.2). The solution is not going to be a change in visa bulletin of July. The bulletin will most likely stay as-is. This is not about August bulletin either.3). This fix will be of a more permenant nature and this idea has been highly popular in this community in the past. July bulletin was spending of money and effort for nothing. I was done with all documentation, signatures and getting out of the attorney office when I got a call from Pankaj that USCIS released news that they will not accept any application. 15 days of stress, started with pankaj call and ended with pankaj call.
