HTML 5 – Next Major Revision In HTML

HTML 5 is the next major revision of the HTML language. Many major software players are working toward these enhancements to HTML since 2004. While it is still under development, Google is using HTML 5 extensively to build their major communication & social networking product Google Wave. HTML 5 will provide flexibility and interoperability to the developers, and enable more interactive and exciting websites and applications. Windows 7 RTM – Releasing On August 6

Windows 7 RTM will be available to MSDN subscribers on August 6th. Windows 2008 R2 might release on the same day as they both shares the same codebase. As per Microsoft  Team blog , Volume License (VL) customer with an existing Software Assurance (SA) license will be able to download Windows 7 RTM in English starting August 7th via the Volume License Service Center (VLSC) while the Microsoft Action Pack Subscribers will be able to download Windows 7 RTM in English starting August 23rd. As per Microsoft  Team blog , Windows 7 will be in retail stores and shipping on new PCs starting October 22nd. If you pre-ordered Windows 7, it should be delivered sometime around the October 22nd timeframe (depends on the retailer).

Windows 7 RC – Slow Wireless Internet on wake-up after sleep or hibernation

I installed Windows 7 on a test machine and it works great. Much faster then Windows Vista. But I was facing an issue that my wireless internet on this machine was slow. Very slow and may be slower then a dial up connection. This happens when system wake-up from sleep or hibernation. To resolve this issue you can try to disconnect and reconnect your wireless connection and you should be good with speed.
