Today is October 22nd and Microsoft Windows 7 if officially releasing.

I have been using it for last few months and I like it. Based on my experience, Windows 7 is all about “how you feel about it”. Windows 7 make you feel that it is better then Windows Vista. Better in boot time, better in look (sidebar, background, screens & graphics), better in performance, better in functionality and better in compatibility with other applications and hardware.

Windows 7 already made some landmark records in sales for example it has become the biggest pre-order item in Amazon (ref Amazon: Windows 7 is 'the biggest pre-order product of all time).

“New operating system sold more copies in the first eight hours of its release in July than Vista did in its entire pre-order period.”
