Google Quick Search Box

Have you tried Google Quick Search Box yet. Google started this project early Jan 2009 for MAC OS X only and recently made it available for Windows.

Google Quick Search Box search for local file, folder, installed program and internet. It allow you to quick launch your installed programs too. I found it better and faster then Google Desktop.z

Google Quick Search Box comes with new Google toolbar. When you install new Google toolbar it will also install Google Mini. Google Quick Search Box sits near the Windows Start button.

Feature & How it Works:

When you click at Google Quick Search Box button then a popup kind of screen open where you can type your search query. As soon as you will start typing you will see bunch of suggestions in the dropdown kind of window.

The suggestion includes files & folders on local machine, installed program on machine  (for example you can see Google Chrome in the suggestion list below) and results from Google search engine.
