I installed Windows 7 on a test machine and it works great. Much faster then Windows Vista. But I was facing an issue that my wireless internet on this machine was slow. Very slow and may be slower then a dial up connection.
This happens when system wake-up from sleep or hibernation. To resolve this issue you can try to disconnect and reconnect your wireless connection and you should be good with speed.
