This website is created & maintained by Vivek Sethi who is a friend of mine. He did help us settling down in Orlando and introduced to other friends before he & family moved to CA. One month was more then enough for us to become good friends.

Grabline is not only a great piece of his creativity and ability to implement his thoughts but inspiration for most of us to go beyond the routine job schedule and do something that give intense satisfaction and opportunity to earn money and social respect.

I wish very best of luck to him and his efforts.

Last year Microsoft came with VS.NET 2005, SQL Server 2005 etc. VS.NET 2005 was a major change over VS.NET 2003 in terms of feature, web controls and the way you program. Same is true for SQL Server 2005 you can now use C# or VB.NET to create store procedures and store procedures could be a .NET class. So no more missing of Oracle package in SQL Server.

Be prepared for much more then this as Microsoft is now changing everything. Year 2007 Microsoft will bring a new Operating System named Vista (formerly code-named "Longhorn") First Look... that have completly new file system named WinFs and 1000s of new features. Vista will also come with WinFX which is set of next-generation managed APIs provided by Microsoft.

Microsoft have created a new section in their MSDN website [View ...] so that people can start preparing for the next generation i.e. 2007. Here you can get information on Windows Presentation Foundation WPF (formerly code named "Avalon") provides the foundation for building applications and high fidelity experiences in Longhorn, blending together application UI, documents, and media content, while exploiting the full power of your computer, Windows Communication Foundation, WCF (formerly code-named "Indigo") is a set of .NET technologies for building and running connected systems, Window Workflow Foundation (Windows Workflow Foundation is the programming model, engine and tools for quickly building workflow enabled applications on Windows).

Microsoft have also redesigned MS Office 2007 (formerly code-named Office "12") [View...] and with New Share point (code-named vnext) it will be most poverfull application for any office operation.

On top of all these Microsoft have created Live.com and changed every name to live e.g. MSN live, Live Search, Microsoft Office Live with office live you can create your own basic website with your own domain name for free
[View Officelive...]. At Micosoft Live Idea website [View...] you can get a complete list of new live products.

So keep a close eye on Microsoft new technologies and be prepared for them

I have redesigned the Laksha.net website. I will use this site for R&D on the new technologes and features.

I updated Laksha.net website further and added a blog feature which uses the blog entries RSS fead from yahoo 360 blog and display on Laksha.net. Another important update is addition of dynamic changeable themes. User can now change the theme of the website by clicking at the radio button at left-top.
